Build Your Career in Combustion Technology

Burner Pro is always looking for talented, motivated individuals who are passionate about technical work and committed to excellence. We offer genuine careers in a specialised technical field that uniquely combines mechanical engineering, electrical systems, control technology, gas safety, and regulatory compliance. This is not a job where you do the same thing every day — it is a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding career path that offers variety, continuous learning, and real opportunities for growth. If you have experience in burner technology, gas installation, or combustion engineering, or if you are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on problem-solving, and are eager to learn a specialised trade, we want to hear from you. We welcome applications from qualified technicians with SAGA registration, experienced tradespeople from related fields such as plumbing, electrical, or mechanical fitting who are looking to specialise in combustion technology, and motivated individuals with no direct experience who are willing to learn through our apprenticeship programme. What we value most is attitude, work ethic, and a genuine commitment to quality and safety. We can teach you the technical skills — but we cannot teach you to care about doing a good job. If you take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and want to build a career in a field that offers genuine job security and growth potential, Burner Pro could be the right fit for you. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds, and we believe that diversity makes us stronger. What unites us is a shared commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.

We offer competitive compensation packages that recognise and reward expertise, experience, and performance. Our technicians earn market-related salaries with performance-based bonuses, overtime pay for after-hours and emergency work, and annual salary reviews that reflect your growing skills and contributions. But compensation is only part of the picture. We invest significantly in our people through ongoing training and manufacturer certification programmes that keep your skills current and valuable. As a Burner Pro team member, you will have opportunities to complete manufacturer-specific training courses with DUNGS, BALTUR, Honeywell, and Siemens — certifications that are recognised throughout the industry and enhance your professional value. You will have pathways to SAGA registration and advanced gas practitioner certification. You will work with the latest combustion technology, diagnostic equipment, and control systems from around the world. You will be mentored by senior technicians with decades of combined experience who are generous with their knowledge and committed to helping you succeed. We believe that investing in our people is investing in our company's future, and we are proud of the technicians who have grown from apprentices to senior team members under our mentorship. Our supportive team culture values expertise, initiative, and a willingness to learn. We celebrate successes together, support each other through challenges, and maintain a professional but friendly working environment where everyone's contribution is valued.

Working at Burner Pro means genuine variety — no two days are ever the same, and that is exactly how we like it. You might spend Monday morning commissioning a new industrial burner system at a food processing plant in Springs, Monday afternoon troubleshooting a commercial boiler at a hotel in Sandton, Tuesday providing a COC inspection for a homeowner in Boksburg, Wednesday repairing an oil burner at a manufacturing facility in Johannesburg, and Thursday installing a complete gas system for a new restaurant in Pretoria. The variety of work keeps the job interesting and ensures you are constantly learning and developing new skills. You will work both in our Boksburg workshop and at diverse client sites across Gauteng and beyond, from small residential homes to large industrial facilities. Our work takes us into boiler houses, commercial kitchens, factory floors, hotel basements, and residential properties. Every setting presents different challenges and learning opportunities. Our team members enjoy the satisfaction of solving complex technical problems, the pride of delivering high-quality work that meets strict safety standards, and the appreciation of clients who value our expertise and professionalism. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, take satisfaction in solving problems and fixing things properly, care about doing quality work that meets safety standards, and want to build a career with variety, challenge, and growth, a career at Burner Pro offers exactly that. We are not just offering a job — we are offering a career path in a specialised, in-demand field with a company that values and invests in its people.
